A person is hospitalized following two separate crashes on Southbound Interstate 75 near I-70 Sunday afternoon.

Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol and medics from both Vandalia and Butler Township were dispatched around 3:14 p.m. on initial reports of a crash on SB I-75 near I-70, O.S.H.P. dispatchers told News Center 7.

When troopers and medics arrived, they found two separate crashes.

All lanes were closed on SB I-75 near I-70 while the crash was under investigation.

Medics took one person to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
