1 injured, 2 vehicles ‘moderately damaged’ in Vancouver crash

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Fire crews are investigating a two-vehicle crash in Vancouver that left one person injured Tuesday afternoon, officials say.

Officials arrived at the intersection of 162nd Avenue and 78th Street around 12:38 p.m. to find a truck and an SUV “moderately damaged” in the middle of the road.

One driver was evaluated for injuries, but officials say they refused to be taken to the hospital.

It is unclear what led to the crash, but Washington State Police are investigating.
