18-year-old arrested, charged in double homicide at southwest Charlotte apartment complex, CMPD says
Cam’Ron Sadler, 18, has been arrested and charged for the murders of brothers Joe Bay Galicia, 18, and Gary Bay Galicia, 20, in a shooting on Aug. 30 in southwest Charlotte, police said.
Officers were called to Rose Ridge Place, which is near Pressley Road, at around 8 p.m. They said when they arrived, they found two people who had been shot multiple times.
Joe Bay Galicia died at the scene and his brother died on Sept. 4 at a hospital.
Officers have not said what led up to the shooting.
Sadler was charged with two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm by a felon, according to CMPD.
