1 killed in 4-vehicle crash Saturday in central Minnesota

Jul. 30—SHERBURNE COUNTY, Minn. — One man was killed in a four-vehicle crash Saturday, July 29, in Sherburne County.

Timothy Wayne Keller, 67, of Cambridge, Minnesota, was killed in the crash, according to a Minnesota State Patrol report.

The crash occurred at about 12:11 p.m. on Rum River Drive, at an off-ramp from US 169.

Keller was driving a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country southbound on the off ramp from 169, according to the report. His vehicle left the roadway to the right, then crossed Rum River Drive.

His vehicle struck a southbound 2000 Ford Expedition on the passenger side, according to the report. The Expedition was being driven by Stephanie Leigh Timmins, 38, no city of residence listed.

The Expedition then went across the center median and struck a dump truck trailer that was being pulled by a Ford F250 traveling northbound on Rum River Drive, according to the report. The F250 was being driven by Michael Forrest Ellison, 56, of Princeton.

Ellison was not injured in the crash, according to the report. Timmins and an 11-year-old passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and both were taken to Fairview Northland for treatment.

Keller was taken to Fairview Northland, according to the report.

The occupants in all vehicles were using their seat belts, according to the report. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash. The road conditions were dry.

The Princeton Police Department, Princeton fire, and North Memorial Ambulance responded.
