Deputies were dispatched to a report of gunshots and found a person dead upon arrival. The shooting is believed to be an isolated incident, with no threat to the public, according to the post.

LCSO declined to provide the Argus Leader with more information, including a more exact location for the shooting and whether or not an arrest has been made, citing the ongoing investigation.

A number of shots heard or shell casings found on scene were also not provided, but the LCSO reaffirmed their statement of believing the incident to be an isolated one and that there is no threat to the public.
