1 person injured in Abilene house fire

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – One person was injured during a house fire in Abilene Wednesday morning.

The fire happened at a home on on the 5200 block of Llano Street around 10:00 a.m.

Multiple people who were home at the time of the fire, were able to escape but one sustained injuries in the process. They were being evaluated by paramedics when KTAB and KRBC arrived on scene.

Investigators believe an electrical arc in the wall started the fire, which was contained to the upstairs of the building.

No further information has been released.
