1 person killed in crash on Steubenville Pike in Robinson Township

One person was killed in a crash early Friday in Robinson Township.

The crash happened in the 4500 block of Steubenville Pike around 2:09 a.m.

Allegheny County police said a Ford truck hit a utility pole and went over a hillside.

The person driving the car was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

The driver has been identified as 25-year-old Cory Rosenwald, of McKees Rocks.

The road was closed between Lorish and East Windhaven roads but has since reopened.

Allegheny County detectives and collision reconstruction officers initiated the investigation.
