1 in stable condition after injured in motorcycle crash in Darke County

One person is in stable condition after they were flown to the hospital after a motorcycle crash in Darke County Tuesday afternoon.

Around 4:45 p.m. crews were called to the intersection of State Route 121 and Oliver Road to reports of a crash involving a single motorcycle.

An investigation found that Lee Everhart, 54, was riding a motorcycle northbound on SR-121 at Oliver Road when he failed to negotiate a curve and lost control of his bike, according to Darke County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said Everhard was thrown from his bike during the crash.

He was flown to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight where he is listed in stable condition.

Everhart was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
