One person was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car in Butler Township Wednesday.

Around 4:15 p.m. Butler Township officers were called to the intersection of Miller Lane and York Commons Boulevard to reports of a person hit by a car.

Crews confirmed that one person was taken from the scene to Miami Valley Hospital, dispatchers confirmed.

Initial scanner traffic indicated that the person was hit by a white pickup truck and was not responsive.

We are working to learn the condition of the person injured and if any charges have been filed.
