From $10,000 to $2 million: Here are some of the luxury items for sale at Christie's new Palm Beach exhibition

Wine, handbags, jewelry and watches are the focal point of a new exhibition at Christie's Palm Beach.

LUXURY, a collection of exclusive, high-end items available for purchase through auction and private sale platforms, will be on display through March 15 at Christies' 1,700-square-foot location at 247 Worth Ave.

The space, which debuted in January, is open through April.

"We are committed to bringing the best of Christie’s in a broad range of collecting categories to appeal to our clients’ interests in Palm Beach," said Cathy Busch, Christie's deputy chairman. "This season we are exhibiting iconic collections such as the collection of fashion legend André Leon Talley, private sale objects such as watches and handbags for immediate purchase, and top auction highlights that will come up for sale this spring.

"We hope to engage with our clients in meaningful ways as they savor the season here and this dynamic community.”

The LUXURY collection is the third of four that will be exhibited at Christie's Palm Beach gallery.

With the exception of wine, Christie's clients have the option of shopping the company's LUXURY exhibition through its auction or private sale platforms, Busch said.

"Clients can choose which platform they're most comfortable with," she said. "All of the jewelry will be sold by auction, and the handbags and watches will be sold as part of our private sales platform. We're aiming to bring the best of Christie's down to Palm Beach always, every season we're here. We want to be able to make our clients comfortable to purchase in whatever way they wish."

Jewelry, watch and wine specialists will be on site during the exhibition to meet with clients, Christie's said. Private appointments also are available for clients who wish to purchase or consign their personal items.

"It's a great opportunity for clients to get to know our specialists and all the knowledge that they have, and possibly consign or sell with Christie's," Busch said.

Christie's Palm Beach is open to the public, and there is no admission fee. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
