An Australian woman, who stole a truck full of 10,000 Krispy Kreme doughnuts, was arrested and charged Thursday after two weeks on the run.

Thanks to surveillance captured at a fuel station just outside of Sydney on Nov. 29, the 28-year-old woman's description was made available for law enforcement to track, according to a news release provided by New South Wales police.

Detectives followed leads of the woman and vehicle for about a week that led them to a suburban carpark in Parramatta where the delivery truck had been abandoned.

This Thursday, officers arrested the woman (unidentified) at St Marys Railway Station in Penrith. She was refused bail and appeared in Penrith Local Court where she was charged with taking and driving conveyance without consent of the owner, driving a motor vehicle during a disqualification period and traveling or attempting travel without a valid ticket, police said.

As for the doughnuts? They are spoiled and "destroyed."

Krispy Kreme reported the incident to law enforcement when it occurred and is now "working to replace the 10,000 stolen doughnuts," according to News 9 out of Sydney.

A family of Alaskan black bears looking for some bear necessities climbed into the back of a Krispy Kreme Doughnuts delivery van back in September, helping themselves to some sweet treats.

Krispy Kreme Alaska shared the "UnBEARlievable Krispy Kreme Alaska moment" on their Facebook page with a picture that showed the two bears devouring the doughnuts.

"One of our brave delivery drivers managed to capture this incredible moment on camera," the post reads. "It's a reminder that our donuts are loved by everyone, even the wildlife!"
