‘Star Wars’ makes its debut at CAPA

During the many decades that classic movies have been shown as part of the CAPA Summer Movie Series, the original “Star Wars” has never made the cut. (Organizers say the movie was difficult to obtain for screenings until Disney acquired 20th Century Fox in 2019.) That changes this weekend, when “Star Wars: Episode IV — A New Hope” will be shown at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the Ohio Theatre, 39 E. State St. Tickets cost $6, or $5 for senior citizens.
