Here are 10 recruits playing in the Corky Kell Classic:

LB Jamal Anderson, Mill Creek, 2023, Clemson commit

Coming off a 78-tackle junior season, Anderson committed to Clemson in June over Michigan State, Utah and USC. The 6-foot-4 linebacker is rated as a four-star and the No. 17 player in Georgia in the 2023 recruiting class.

ATH Martavious Collins, Rome, 2024, Alabama commit

Listed as an athlete, Collins committed to the Crimson Tide as a tight end over Georgia, LSU and Ohio State. He’s big and a huge versatile target for a Rome squad looking to make a deep playoff run.

S Caleb Downs, Mill Creek, 2023, Alabama commit

The top senior in Georgia, Downs plays like someone who could see serious time as a freshman, and he’ll do that for Alabama instead of Georgia, North Carolina or Ohio State. A year ago, he scored in every phase of the game and made an impact all over the field. Don’t expect that to change against Walton or anyone this year.

IOL Waltclaire Flynn Jr., Grayson, 2024, uncommitted

With just two seasons of high school football under his belt, Flynn already has offers from all over the country. He’s listed at 6-foot-1, 300 pounds and has been playing on the varsity offensive line since his freshman year.

DL Stephiylan Green, Rome, 2023, Clemson commit

Dabo Swinney has made a living in Georgia this class and Green rises to the top of that list. He’s 6-foot-4 with great jump off the ball. He went on official visits to Clemson, Georgia and Ohio State this summer before committing to the Tigers at the end of June.

QB Dylan Lonergan, Brookwood, 2023, Alabama commit

Lonergan plays quarterback and he also pitches for the baseball team and at Alabama he’ll continue to do both. A top 3 of Alabama, South Carolina and Stanford, the Crimson Tide’s success of developing quarterbacks led to him committing as a four-star and Top 10 QB in this class.

TE Lawson Luckie, Norcross, 2023, Georgia commit

The 6-foot-3 tight end doesn’t have the receiving stats of other top rated tight ends that UGA assistant Todd Hartley has signed, but his work as a pass blocker is elite. He committed to Georgia the day after they won the national championship and is headstrong on joining a deep tight end room in January.

DL Kayden McDonald, North Gwinnett, 2023, uncommitted

One of the more interesting recruits in the 2023 class, McDonald has offers from everywhere and is coming off a 91-tackle, 20-sack junior season. He’s visited Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and others this offseason.

ATH Joseph Stone, Grayson, 2024, LSU commit

The four-star athlete committed to LSU in June after a June 21 unofficial visit. He’s versatile, playing and excelling at all skill positions. In 2021, he finished second on teh Rams in rushing with 687 yards and nine touchdowns, he tacked on 102 receiving yards and threw two touchdown passes.
