"Divas Through the Decades" is a musical tribute to some of the most influential female vocalists in American pop music, featuring songs from the 40's, through today's current hits. The show features music made famous by various divas including Tina Turner, Diana Ross and the Supremes, Celine Dion, Aretha Franklin, Gloria Estefan, Madonna, Beyonce, Shania Twain, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and many more. Ready for a beat down? Pro wrestling live returns to Panama City Beach
6 p.m., Feb. 5, at the Travelodge Panama City Beach - Sports & Events Complex, 225 Shalimar Drive, Panama City Beach. Freedom Force Wrestling presents "Weathering the Storm," a friendly, fun, and exciting in-ring pro wrestling action event. Come see Storm Thomas, as seen on AEW TV, the new FFW Heavyweight Champion Hoss Jensen in action and of course the ladies come out show their skills for the FFW family. Food Trucks of America will host its annual Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival with a total of 30 food trucks, serving everything from barbeque and pizza to prime rib, Korean food and mac and cheese. Delve into Black history at the Black Film Festival
3:30-6:30 p.m., Feb. 5, in the main level auditorium at the Bay County Public Library, 898 W 11th Street, Panama City. Dr. Frederick D. Woods & 3CEmpowerment, in honor of Black History month, present Entrepreneurship, the inspiring story of trailblazing Black American entrepreneur Madam C.J. Walker who built a haircare empire that made her America's first female self-made millionaire. This is a 50 minute film. Prior to the movie, there is 15 minute video presentation of inventors, scientist physicians, and self-made successful men’s and women of the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries followed by a 10-minute intermission before the movie. 6-10 p.m. Feb. 5, at the Lyndell Center, 423 Lyndell Lane, Panama City Beach. The Women’s Civic Club of Panama City Beach will host a dance and silent auction with all proceeds to benefit charities and projects in the Panama City Beach community.
