If you haven't started your holiday shopping, you might want to trek to the Ohio Craft Museum, where almost 200 artists will be selling their wares at "Gifts of the Craftsmen" - and it runs through Dec. 23 for you last-minute shoppers!

Afterward, if you're still in the holiday spirit, you can take in a free showing of "The Santa Clause" at the McCoy Center for the Arts in New Albany, or see Shadowbox Live's new production of "Holiday Hoopla," a mix of comedy sketches and seasonal music.

Looking for something to do with the smallfry? There's "Disney Descendants" in Dublin, recommended for ages 6 and older, and for the smaller fry, there's 'CoComelon Live: JJ's Journey at the Palace Theatre.

Local holiday gifts galore

Make your holiday shopping easy and keep it local by checking out “Gifts of the Craftsmen” at the Ohio Craft Museum, 1665 W. 5th Ave. Nearly 200 artists will be selling their creations, including jewelry, glass, pottery, toys, cards and ornaments. Many of the artists who exhibit at Winterfair will also have wares for sale here. Special holiday hours run through Dec. 23: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays, with special evening hours on Thursdays, when the store will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m.  (www.ohiocraft.org)

‘Santa Clause’ free screening

In the 1994 holiday comedy “The Santa Clause,” “Home Improvement” star Tim Allen appears as Scott Calvin, an altogether unremarkable dad who fate ordains to assume the role of Santa Claus. The movie, also starring Judge Reinhold, Eric Lloyd and Wendy Crewson, will be screened for free at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the McCoy Center for the Arts, 100 E. Dublin-Granville Road, New Albany. Documentary on Hopper

Famed artist Edward Hopper — widely admired for paintings of scenes of everyday existence, including “Nighthawks” — is the subject of director Phil Grabsky’s documentary “Hopper: An American Love Story.” Shown as part of the multi-venue “Exhibition on Screen” series, screenings will take place at 7 p.m. Friday at the McConnell Arts Center, 777 Evening St., Worthington ($12, or $15 at the door); at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Gateway Film Center, 1550 N. Columbus Women's Chorus to lift voices

The Columbus Women’s Chorus will perform “Let Your Life Sing” at 3 p.m. Sunday at the First Unitarian Universalist Church, 93 W. Weisheimer Road. The program will encompass folk, classical and pop music as sung by the 33-year-old feminist chorus. Tickets cost $15, or free for age 12 and younger, “pay what you are able” at the door. New 'Holiday Hoopla'

Shadowbox Live will present a new production of “Holiday Hoopla,” with company-created comedy sketches and seasonal songs celebrating the hustle, bustle and fun of the holiday season. Comedian Becky Robinson to pour it on heavy

Comedian-writer-actor Becky Robinson, who blends characters and improv into her standup act, is known for her alter egos, viral videos and wide range of physical characters on stage and screen. The Los-Angeles-based performer and voiceover star, also known as the “Entitled Housewife,” has voiced or appeared on Nickelodeon’s animated “Middlemost Post,” ABC’s “The Bachelor,” MTV’s “Acting Out,” and Kevin Hart’s “Writer’s Room". JJ's Journey to make its way to the Palace Theatre

Fans of the popular YouTube channel will relish "CoComelon Live: JJ's Journey," which will be presented at 6 p.m. Nov. 23 at the Palace Theatre, 34 W. Broad St. This show for the very young follows JJ and his family and friends as they prepare to put on a show. Twenty songs and dances will get toes tapping. Tickets start at $36. 'Disney Descendants' to be performed in Dublin

The Abbey Theater of Dublin will present “Disney Descendants: The Musical,” Nick Blaemire, Madeline Smith and Matthew Tischler’s musical comedy featuring beloved characters and hit songs from the popular Disney Channel original movies. Central Ohio Hot Jazz to light up the night

Warm up and get your feet in motion when the Central Ohio Hot Jazz Society celebrates its 41st year with a Fall Harvest Jazz Party from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Valley Dale Ballroom, 1590 Sunbury Road. Rap star Rod Wave to perform in Nationwide Arena

Rising young rap star Rod Wave will appear at 8 p.m. Friday at Nationwide Arena, 200 W. Nationwide Blvd. Expect heavy coverage of his latest album, “Beautiful Mind,” which was released this summer, on which his big voice infuses R&B-style romantic longing into rap.
