Country star Kenny Chesney to perform at Historic Crew Stadium

Multi-Country Music Award and Academy of County Music Award-winner Kenny Chesney is bringing his “Here and Now” tour to Historic Crew Stadium, Interstate 71 near East Hudson Street, at 6 p.m. Thursday. Chesney is known for his popular hits such as "When the Sun Goes Down" and "Don't Blink." He’ll be joined by Grammy Award-winners Dan + Shay, Country Music Association Award winners Carly Pearce and Old Dominion as well. Tickets for the concert start at $41. 'Immersive Monet & the Impressionists' worth a visit

Located at the Lighthouse ArtSpace Columbus, 940 Polaris Parkway, the "Immersive Monet & the Impressionists" exhibit is in full swing and tickets are still available this weekend. The history of Ohio ice cream with author Renee Casteel Cook

Meet Columbus author Renee Casteel Cook as she takes some time to talk about her book "Ohio Ice Cream: A Scoop of History" at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Westerville Public Library, 126 S. State St.. Fresh off best new artist Grammy nomination The Kid Laroi brings tour to Columbus

Australian rapper The Kid Laroi will bring his “End of the World” tour to Kemba Live, 405 Neil Ave., at 6 p.m. Sunday. The young hip-hop artist has exploded onto the worldwide music scene before even releasing his debut studio album, "The Kids Are Growing Up," which is expected to be released this year. First-ever CBUS Soul Fest to bring headliner Talib Kweli and more to Bicentennial Park

Looking for a one-day festival with a loaded lineup and has free admission? The first-ever Soul Fest will take place from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday at Bicentennial Park, 233 Civic Center Drive. The festival will showcase Black culture, music, history and soul during the daylong event. Headlining the festival are The Soul Rebels featuring nationally known MC Talib Kweli. Also on the entertainment list is Harmonic Soul, MojoFlo and many more. There will be food and retail vendors as well. Also, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the John F. Wolfe Columbus Commons will be hosting a complementary CBUS Soul event focused on family fun and featuring Black-owned businesses. Learn the ‘Recipe for Love’ with Johnny Steiner

Start with a dash of Rodgers and Hammerstein, add a sprinkling of Sinatra and combine: For his annual summer concert, Columbus singer Johnny Steiner will perform “Recipe for Love” at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Church of the Messiah, 51 N. State St., Westerville. The program will feature tunes including Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin,’” and “I’ve Got the World on a String,” the latter of which is synonymous with Frank Sinatra. Actors' Theatre season finale, 'King Hedley II,' on deck

Actors' Theatre's final production for the season is “King Hedley II,” which will be performed outdoors at the Amphitheatre at Schiller Park, 1000 City Park Ave., at 8 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays from Aug, 18 to Sept. 4. A co-production with PAST Productions, the play is the ninth in August Wilson's Pittsburgh Cycle, and follows the story of an ex-con in Pittsburgh in the '80s, as he tries to make a living selling refrigerators, and confronts the past. 'The Niceties' kicks off Thursday night

Red Herring's final show at its current location, 3723 S. High St. in the Great Southern Shopping Center, will open on Thursday. “The Niceties,” Eleanor Burgess' two-person play, begins with a Black student at a liberal college discussing a paper about the impact of slavery on the American Revolution with her white professor, and escalates from there. 'Gospel Superfest' to feature 20 national acts

Join in on the filming of syndicated TV show “Gospel Superfest” at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Palace Theatre, 34 W. Broad St. Rocsi Diaz will host 20 national acts, including Grammy Award-winner Donnie McClurkin, five-piece gospel group Rizen, Pastor Shirley Caesar and Minnesota-based gospel ensemble Sounds of Blackness. “Proper attire” is required. India Festival to feature music, food, henna and more

Celebrate India from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Celeste Center on the Ohio State Fairgrounds, Interstate 71 and East 17th Avenue. Live music and dance performances will take place throughout the festival, with well-known Indian singer Garima Khiste headlining the event.
