Trick or treat, folks! We're getting into the final stretch before Halloween day on Oct. 31, and this week is full of fun with costumes, candy, and more. Check it out in this week's The 10 for Oct. 24-30.

Fifth annual Junior Dragster Halloween Spooktacular

The four-day Halloween Spooktacular, Thursday through Sunday, is dedicated to Junior Dragster racing, family fun, and all things Halloween. It’s at Capital City Motorsports Park, 2600 N. Belt Drive. The event includes the 10K Main Event, the Skull Bandits Golf Cart Race, the Big Daddy Ben Parents Race and family fun activities like the costume contest, pit and trailer decorating contest, trick-or-treating, and several new surprise additions coming this year. Coosa Candy Crawl is Thursday in Wetumpka

Downtown Wetumpka is going to be a treasure trove of treats Thursday from 5:30-7:30 p.m., courtesy of Main Street Wetumpka. Dress in your favorite Halloween costume and trick-or-treat through downtown businesses and table sponsors.

Dracula: A Ballet to Die For

The Alabama Dance Theatre is resurrecting its vampire ballet, "Dracula: A Ballet to Die For." Based on the classic Bram Stoker vampire novel, it’s being performed at the Davis Theatre for the Performing Arts, 251 Montgomery St., in downtown Montgomery. Four dates are ahead: Friday at 7 p.m., 2 p.m., and 7 p.m. on Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday. It’s recommended for ages 7 and older. Tickets range from $20 to $30. Blasting Through P.A.D. Sporting Clays Shooting Event

The Lower Wetumpka Shotgun Sports Club is holding a Blasting Through PAD Sporting Clays Event on Friday. Along with raising awareness for Peripheral Arterial Disease, it raises funds for Vascular Services at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.

Angels and Demons Night, then Halloween Bash at GTSouth

It’s a costume party with a theme on Friday at GTSouth Geek & Gaming Tavern. Come dressed as your version of an angel or a demon. DJ Abuniverse will be there. Then on Saturday, GTSouth is having its Halloween Party. Come in costume, ready to have fun. DJ Henngod will be dropping spooky hits. GT South is at 2015 Cong W.L. Dickinson Drive. Ages 21 and older.

Montgomery Pride United events in Montgomery

On Saturday is the Montgomery Pride United 2022 Pride March & Rally through downtown Montgomery, starting at noon at the Bayard Rustin Community Center and going to the Alabama Capitol steps. There will be speakers, entertainers, cold water, and vehicles for anyone who is unable to march. On Sunday, they'll gather in Montgomery at EatSouth (rear parking lot of the Advertiser, 485 Molton St.) for the Montgomery Pride Festival, where they'll have games, prizes, a costume contest, entertainment, food vendors, drag performers, music, and more. The last time Montgomery had a Pride Festival, was pre-pandemic 2019.

Let’s do the time warp again! It’s just not Halloween if you haven’t watched this movie at least once. The Sanctuary, 432 S. Goldthwaite St., is holding its eighth screening of the 1975 campy musical horror film on Saturday. There’s a creepy castle, dancing, singing, and more. It’s a fundraiser for the Jubilee Community Center (aka The Sanctuary). There’s a costume contest (come early to register). Drinks and concessions are available. Doors open at 7 .m., and the film starts at 8 p.m. Advance tickets are $10, and are available online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/rocky-horror-picture-show-2022-tickets-427927040297. They’re $15 on the day of the show. They’re also selling Rocky Horror prop bags, with things to use at specific cue points in the movie.

Boo Festival in Millbrook

Millbrook is holding its 13th annual Boo Festival on Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Village Green Park. It's a free, fun family event with a farmers market, pumpkin patch, hayride, bike-or-treat, hay mountain, food trucks, DJ, contests, candy, games, and more.

Landmark Baptist Church annual Car & Truck Show

Landmark Baptist Church, 1035 N. Memorial Drive, Prattville, is hosting its annual Car & Truck Show on Saturday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. It's free for guests to come to look. For vehicle entries, there's a $20 fee (including one lunch ticket). The show is open to all makes and models. Registration will close at 11 a.m. There are top 25 trophies, Charity's Choice, and Best of Show. Proceeds raised are going to the Adullum House. East Family YMCA Family Fall Festival

Come out to the YMCA, 3407 Pelzer Ave., Montgomery, for the East Family YMCA Family Fall Festival. Saturday from 5-7 p.m., guests get to enjoy games, face painting, a cake walk, prizes, concessions, a costume contest, haunted locker rooms, canoe rides, and more. Admission is $5.
