We tried on the holiday Clippy sweater. It was fine!

‘Tis the season to bust out the box of holiday-themed sweaters. I have about five that I cycle through every year, and each represents a different side of me. This year, I’m showing off my nerdy side with Microsoft’s Holiday Clippy sweater, which the company sent over to promote its existence. It’s a fine sweater, but Clippy was pretty annoying when it was around, and I’ve already impressed everyone that would have gotten the joke.

Suffice it to say, I’m still shopping around for my nerdy Christmas sweater. I wish I could find a purely Android one, or maybe something that shows off the iOS/Android duality I’ve adopted this year. I’m still searching for my unicorn, but here’s what I’ve unearthed so far.

Microsoft sent over its Windows Ugly Sweater to me to promote its latest campaign with the College Success Foundation. Well, I’ve worn the Microsoft Clippy-themed ugly Christmas sweater. It’s comfortable, though a little bulky on my body. And while the sizes were unisex, you’ll want to size up if you have hips.

Anyway, it’s so popular it’s sold out right now. Would you like help with that?

Anime fans, forgive me for leading with my inner child, but I love this Sailor Moon Christmas sweater. I especially love that it looks like Sailor Moon’s sprite in the Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon S: Jōgai Rantō!? Shuyaku Sōdatsusen fighting game for the Super Famicon. I’ve only been able to play it through emulators!

There are several other options for Sailor Moon Christmas sweaters over at the link, so check it out. But order quickly, because the window to get it before the holiday is quite short.

You could go to Target and peruse its Mario-themed holiday sweaters or get the official one from Nintendo’s accessory shop. This year features Mario and Luigi as snowmen surrounded by 1UP mushrooms. I’m choosing to pretend it’s not Chris Pratt’s Mario!

Admittedly, I haven’t run into the Chrome dinosaur in some time, but that’s probably because I only fluctuate between a handful of websites—one of them is Google’s!

Admittedly, I’ve started to veer off the nerdy and into the weird. I’m into whatever abomination this is. Pretend you’re riding a snowman through the house and chuck snow at people! That’ll make plenty of friends over the holiday!
