NOTE: Did you slip up and miss out on Savannah Banana baseball this weekend?

The Savannah Bananas have sold out both shows this weekend at Montgomery's Riverwalk Stadium.
The Savannah Bananas have sold out both shows this weekend at Montgomery's Riverwalk Stadium.

The outrageous Savannah Bananas baseball team is back in Montgomery Friday and Saturday at Riverwalk Stadium. But, shucks, both days are sold out already. It’s not a fluke. They tour through 33 cities in 22 states, and most all of the Bananas shows sell out very fast. It’s easy to see the “a peel,” since this is known as the “greatest show in baseball.” It’s comedy. It’s music. It’s a whole lot of antics — trick plays, TikTok dances and, of course, their own brand of Banana Ball. The closest sports comparison is probably what Harlem Globetrotters bring to basketball, though Bananas owner Jesse Cole says his team is the “Globetrotters times 10.” Follow them online at https://thesavannahbananas.com/
