$100,000 worth of items stolen from vendor for NFL Experience

On Sunday, a third-party vendor for the NFL Experience in Phoenix reported the theft of several items valued at about $100,000.

Phoenix Police Sgt. Brian Bower described the stolen items as production property taken near 200 E. Washington St.

The NFL Experience opened Saturday, Feb. 4, at Phoenix Convention Center.

Detectives were investigating.

A large variety of NFL items were for sale at the NFL Experience, including Hunt Auctions collectible items, Wilson NFL footballs, and a wide variety of officially licensed team and Super Bowl LVII apparel and memorabilia.

"The specifics into what was taken is part of the investigation and not yet available," Bower said in an email.

Phoenix police were asking anyone with information on this incident to call Phoenix police non-emergency or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or 480-TESTIGO.
