AAA is encouraging parents to talk to teens and remind them to be cautious on the road.
- Well, as the school year is wrapping up, that means, of course summer vacation, but it is also a time for drivers to be extra careful on the roads. Right now we are in what AAA calls the 100 deadliest days of summer, the time between Memorial Day and Labor Day that is considered to be the deadliest for teenagers. This is when they're likely to be driving alone or with other teens in the car and are more likely to speed, run a red light, or text and drive. AAA encourages parents talk to their teen about the dangers behind the wheel and lead by example while driving.
