The 100 shocks fans with major character return in latest episode
Post-apocalyptic TV series The 100 snuck in the return of one beloved character recently.
Christopher Larkin's Monty Green exited the show during last year's season 5 finale, but now fans can rejoice in the re-emergence of this great character – although it all seemingly happened in Clarke Griffin's head.

And when we say 'rejoice', what actually came to pass was a social media meltdown as fans became teary-eyed just at the sight of Monty.
"I saw Monty and burst into tears. Dammit," one fan tweeted, and others were clearly just as excited:
Monty saving the day even beyond the grave. My baby boy. My green bean. #The100

As you can see, things got pretty emotional for fans as they witnessed the big return.
Elsewhere, The 100 showrunner Jason Rothenberg revealed back in April why season 6's new planet is so lethal.
Speaking to Digital Spy and other media at WonderCon, he explained: "Eliguis III landed on Sanctum 236 years ago and thought they'd found paradise. And then, within day 21, when the first eclipse happened, bad things resulted.
"People were never supposed to be on Sanctum... because of the lifecycle of the planet, which is... every time those planets come into alignment, an eclipse induced psychosis happens."
Later on, Rothenberg added that the plant-life "feed on the dead and eventually it's a plant dominated moon".
The 100 airs on The CW in the US and E4 in the UK.
