This 101 carat diamond could fetch almost $20 million

Location: Geneva, Switzerland

It is known as the 'Alrosa Spectacle'

and is the largest diamond ever cut in Russia

It will be auctioned in Geneva on May 12

(SOUNDBITE) (English) SPECIALIST AT CHRISTIE'S AUCTION HOUSE JEWELRY DEPARTMENT, MARIE-CECILE CISAMOLO, SAYING: "The top lot of our Geneva auction is the Alrosa Spectacle diamond. It is 100.94 carats diamond. It is D colour, internally flawless and type 2A so it's pretty much perfection."

It was mined in 2016

and took 20 months to cut into a 101 carat stone
