102-Year-Old Woman Gets Active During Great-Grandson’s Virtual Gym Class
A 102-year-old great-grandmother joined her great-grandson’s first-grade gym class from home in Ajo, Arizona, on March 3, much to the delight of her granddaughter-in-law.
Angela Groch recorded this footage and originally posted it to Instagram.
Groch told Storyful her grandmother-in-law, Julia Fulkerson, is 102-and-a-half and has lived in Ajo her entire life.
Groch said that she, her husband, and Fulkerson were all vaccinated against COVID.
“So we took the opportunity to spend some quality time with great-grandma,” Groch said. “We were going to introduce her to Brody’s class … but she beat us to it and walked up during PE and just joined in!”
