11 Cares helps kick off Moon Township Miracle League fall season

Some familiar faces were on hand to kick off the fall ball season at the Miracle League field on Saturday.

The Miracle League helps people with disabilities enjoy America’s pastime, baseball.

Channel 11 Sports Director Alby Oxenreiter and Traffic Expert Trisha Pittman announced the game.

The president of the Moon Township Miracle League says everyone is excited for the fall season, and they’re looking for more volunteers.

“Whether it’s the kids or the adults, everyone just wants to be part of a team and play,” said Mike Magulick, Miracle League president.

The season runs through Oct. 22nd.
