11 TV Hill: Dads ponder life's big questions on 'Turf Valley' comedy series
When you think Turf Valley, comedy probably isn't your first thought. Even for the creators of a new online series bearing the posh community's name, there's the cerebral approach to the show. Adam Rodgers and Tom Ventimiglia are bringing the normal and the weird to their creation, what they describe as a "dad lunch." The love from the show captures the interaction of three stay-at-home dads who get six or seven minutes to discuss life's big questions at their kids' bus stop before going back to dad-life. There's even a cameo with former Washington Redskins player turned executive producer Charles Mann. And it's all filmed on a corner in middle of Turf Valley.
