The 12 best looks Beyoncé has worn on her Renaissance World Tour — so far

  • Beyoncé kicked off her Renaissance World Tour on May 10 in Stockholm, Sweden.

  • The star has worn one couture outfit after another, and has yet to wear the same one twice.

  • Beyoncé's tour looks include a hand-embellished gown, which took 700 hours and 12 people to make.

Much like Taylor Swift's Era's Tour outfits, Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour looks are no regular DIY job — they involve thousands of hours of work and input from world-renowned designers.

The singer has been on tour since May, dazzling her fans in a number of elaborate outfits from semi-sheer catsuits to a minidress that looks like a string of diamond necklaces.

As Beyoncé sings in "Pure/Honey," "it should cost a billion to look that good." Looking at the star's tour wardrobe, it probably does.

Here are some of the best looks from Beyoncé's tour so far.

Beyoncé has worn a number of standout couture looks on her Renaissance World Tour since it began in May 2023. She kicked off the tour in Stockholm, Sweden, where she wore a stunning Alexander McQueen catsuit during her performance.

This custom Alexander McQueen catsuit is one of many looks from the fashion house that Beyoncé has worn on tour.

The gunmetal-gray catsuit had a distinctive shape, featuring a plunging neckline, arched shoulder pads, and a peplum waist with an almost architectural element. The intricate outfit also had rows of silver bugle beads and crystal embroidery.

During the same show, the singer sported a striking Loewe catsuit with hand motifs that created an optical illusion.

Loewe designed the catsuit in collaboration with costume designer Shiona Turini, as the fashion house said on its website.

The sleeveless, gold outfit was completely embellished with crystals, and featured the hand motifs that were seen in Loewe's fall/winter 2022 runway show, according to the brand's website.

Notably, Beyoncé wore matching black opera gloves with red nails poking through to match those printed on the statement catsuit.

That same month, while performing in London, Beyoncé wore a Mugler bee bodysuit and helmet — a reference to her Beyhive fan base.

Nothing would be more fitting for Queen Bey than a queen bee outfit. During a performance in London in May, she donned a custom Mugler bee costume for her adoring fans, also known as the Beyhive.

The outfit consisted of a structural, black-and-yellow bodysuit in the shape of a bee; black, thigh-high, patent-leather boots; and a helmet with dramatic antennae to emulate those of the insect.

The arist wore a stunning Iris van Herpen gown during a June performance in Amsterdam.

During a performance in Amsterdam, Beyoncé performed her opening number "Dangerously in Love," in a dreamy design by Iris van Herpen.

The semi-sheer minidress had silver embellishments and a long train, as well as "wings" sewn into the garment's long sleeves for dramatic effect. The custom "Heliosphere" gown took 700 hours to make, featured close to 1,000 falcate embellishments made with silver-marbled silicone, and was hand-stitched by a team of 12 people, according to an Instagram post shared by the official Iris van Herpen account.

Olivier Rousteing designed a custom Balmain metallic bodysuit for Beyoncé for her Juneteenth show in Amsterdam.

For her Juneteenth looks, Beyoncé opted to exclusively wear creations by Black designers at her June 18 show in Amsterdam.

Rousteing, the creative director, of Balmain was behind one of Beyoncé's standout looks: a bodysuit that the design house called "robo-couture" in an Instagram post.

The star wore the bodysuit for her performance of "I'm That Girl." The industrial-looking garment referenced silver armor and featured metal plates that appeared to be secured by screws. It even covered her hands like a glove. She accessorized with silver thigh-high boots to match.

For the same Juneteenth Renaissance show, Beyoncé wore a red Ferragamo gown.

Beyoncé opted for a stunning, embellished gown with a square neckline and thigh-high slit, designed by Ferragamo creative director Maximilian Davis, according to a post shared on the brand's Instagram account.

The gown was a custom design in Davis' signature fiery red, and was embellished with beading in the same shade. Beyoncé accessorized the look with a pair of silver cuffs on each wrist.

During a show in Warsaw, Poland, Beyoncé wore a heavily embellished Elie Saab Haute Couture minidress with fringe details.

Beyoncé has long been a fan of Elie Saab Haute Couture for her red-carpet looks.

For her show in Warsaw, she wore an embellished, figure-hugging minidress featuring a high neckline with crystal fringing that dropped to the floor. The dress had a sheer, mesh background, to highlight the intricacy of embroidery in gold and silver tones.

She wore a stunning, metallic-green bodysuit and cape designed by Del Core in the same show.

In Warsaw, Beyoncé closed her show in an iconic custom Del Core look. The singer wore a sequin-covered, green bodysuit with a plunging neckline and peephole design, highlighted with intricate silver beading.

She paired the look with green, sparkly boots and a crystal-embellished harness that blended in with her cape to perform the final song of the night, "Summer Renaissance."

In July, the singer wore a Tiffany & Co. minidress for a performance in Toronto.

Tiffany & Co. doesn't sell clothes to us mere mortals, but Beyoncé likely isn't subject to the same rules as a brand ambassador and fashion icon.

For a show in Toronto, she wore a metallic, mesh minidress with embellishments draped across the front inspired by Elsa Peretti's "Diamonds by the Yard" jewelry line for the brand, according to an Instagram post shared by Tiffany & Co.

Beyoncé made a statement in a structural Schiaparelli outfit for a show in Chicago.

Schiaparelli is a celebrity favorite, but rather than an off-the-rack piece from the design house, Beyoncé opted for a custom design.

For her Chicago show, the artist wore a black Schiaparelli Haute Couture minidress designed by creative director Daniel Roseberry, according to a post shared by Schiaparelli's Instagram account. The garment featured a ruched bustier and a voluminous stole that was covered in hand-embroidered, silver-gray feathers and extended into a train.

For a July show in East Rutherford, New Jersey, Beyoncé paired a silver bodysuit that featured cone-shaped cups with a pink, faux-fur coat from Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini.

For the New Jersey leg of the Renaissance World Tour, Beyoncé donned a one-of-a-kind, custom design by Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini: a silver, crystal-embellished bodysuit with Madonna-esque, cone-shaped cups.

She added a pink, eco-kidassia coat that she wore perched on her shoulders over the long-sleeved bodysuit, plus a pair of silver, thigh-high boots, and statement sunglasses.

For her show in Atlanta, Georgia, the singer wore a couture runway gown by Indian designer Gaurav Gupta, inspired by a traditional South Asian sari.

Beyoncé wore a number of Gaurav Gupta looks for the US leg of her Renaissance World Tour. The designer's Neon Green Athena Saree Gown that the star wore at her Atlanta was shown at the Gupta's Paris Couture Week runway show in July.

The floor-length dress featured a high slit, and is inspired by the South Asian sari. The intricate, draped texture lends itself to the flowy fabric of the garment, which featured small cutout details on the front and side, and a hood.

"It was so heartwarming to see her wear the saree gown, especially for her opening look," Gupta previously told Insider.
