A 12-year-old boy was grazed in the leg and two other people were wounded when two gunmen approached them on the sidewalk on the South Side and opened fire Tuesday night, according to Chicago police.
The three were standing together in the 6400 block of South King Drive around 9:10 p.m. when two people approached and fired shots, police said.
A 20-year-old man was hit in the chest and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in serious condition, police said. Another man, 27, was hit in the chest and shoulder and taken to the same hospital in good condition.
The boy was grazed in the leg and declined treatment on the scene, police said.
No one was in custody.
