If you have yet to sign up for a Walmart+ membership, now's a really great time to do so — the retail giant just added a new benefit to its program that'll help you save even more time and money.
For $98 a year, you'll gain access to a slew of perks, like fast and free unlimited delivery on fresh groceries, gadgets, and more; mobile scan-and-go that lets you check out from your phone as you shop in stores; and special savings on fuel. Members can save 5 cents per gallon of gas at most Walmart, Sam's Club, and Murphy fuel stations. On top of that, its newest benefit, known as Rx for Less, lets members get select prescriptions for as little as $0 and thousands more for up to 85 percent off. (This benefit is not available in certain states and cannot be combined with insurance.)
But arguably one of the best perks for Walmart+ members is free shipping for all online orders, which is big because anyone who's not signed up must spend a minimum of $35 to get free shipping. Members also receive free next-day and two-day delivery on items shipped by the retailer. If you shop at Walmart often, this is a really amazing deal. But if you're not ready to commit to a full year just yet, you can try a free 15-day trial.
