$125,000 lottery ticket sold in Superior
Dec. 7—SUPERIOR — A customer of Kwik Trip on 623 Hammond Ave. turned a $5 raffle ticket into $125,000 just in time for the holidays.
The store sold the $125,000 top prize-winning ticket in the 2023 Holly Jolly Raffle lotto game, No. 093723, according to a Dec. 5 news release from the Wisconsin Lottery. The winning ticket was drawn on Dec. 4. The odds of winning the grand prize were 1 in 150,000, according to the

Since 2017, the Hammond Avenue Kwik Trip has sold three tickets that have been big winners — $30,000 and $25,000 scratch ticket winners and a winning $50,000 Powerball ticket — according to the Wisconsin Lottery.
The site listed other Superior tickets that led to big wins recently, including a $1,000 Supercash! winner purchased at Super One Foods and a $5,000 prize winner in the Nutcracker Cash Countdown from the KwikTrip on 2128 E. Second St.
The limited-time Holly Jolly Raffle launched on Oct. 20 and sold out on Nov. 20. In addition to the top prize-winner, 78 tickets of $1,000 and 1,750 tickets of $100 were also drawn. Players can check their numbers at any lottery retailer or by going to
. Winners have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prize. All winning tickets can be claimed by mail or in person at the Madison or Milwaukee offices. Prizes of $100 can be claimed at any Wisconsin Lottery retailer.
