(FOX40) — The Sacramento International Airport (SMF) will be getting 13 new food and beverage shops starting later this year.
The 13 new options include a number of local favorites familiar to Sacramento residents such as a Bawk! location and a Temple Coffee outpost.
“We are proud of the number of proposals we received,” said Sacramento County Department of Airports Director Cindy Nichol. “Our new dining options will reflect the amazing culinary culture of Sacramento. And we hope this further enhances what makes SMF such a beloved airport.”
The 13 new shops are:
West Coast Sourdough
Bambuza Vietnam Kitchen
Centro Cocino Mexicana
New Helvetica Brewing
In addition to the 13 new shops, the airport will also be getting another Starbucks location.
According to airport officials, the new shops will replace existing vendors at the airport starting in late summer.
