13-Year-Old Girl Missing From Aurora Area: Police

AURORA, IL — Aurora police are asking for help from residents in the area in their search for a missing 13-year-old girl. Dessa Meyers was last seen around midnight in the 900 block of Corporate Boulevard on Aurora’s East Side, police said.

The Aurora Police Department said in a Facebook post Tuesday that officers believe she could be in or on her way to Riverside or the Chicago area.

Police described Dessa as 5 feet, 2 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes. The department is asking anyone with information about her location to call 630-256-5900 or 911.
