Here are 13 ways the Tampa Bay area is remembering Sept. 11, 2001, and honoring those whose lives were lost.

Patriot Express Music Festival: This salute to veterans features a 9/11 first responder tribute and live music by Stormbringer, Jeriko Turnpike, Big Country and Brother Brownlow. 9/11 Day of Remembrance Ceremony: Join the Madeira Beach Fire Department to remember the terrorist attacks on America and to honor those who died. Free. 8:45 a.m. Sunday. Patriot Park, 424 150th Ave., Madeira Beach.

9/11 Memorial Motorcycle Ride: It’s kickstands up at 9:15 a.m. for a first responders tribute ride ending at Mission Barbecue. Bring flags to wave or attach them to your bike. Free. 9 a.m. Sunday. WaWa, 8910 Ulmerton Road, Largo.

9/11 First Responders Cookie Run: Meet at RaceTrac to ride to local fire stations around Plant City and surrounding areas to drop off cookies and say “thank you.” Free. 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday. RaceTrac, 1722 James L. Redman Parkway, Plant City.

9/11 Ceremony: Gather in the garden to remember the heroes who served during the 9/11 crisis. Free. 9 a.m. Sunday. Curlew Hills Memory Gardens, 1750 Curlew Road, Palm Harbor. 727-789-2000.

9/11 Memorial Ride: Florida Ski Riders and Agitando Jet Ski invite local riders to meet at the Fort De Soto boat ramp for a memorial ride visiting the Sunshine Skyway bridge, Passage Key, Egmont Key and Fort De Soto.
