14 cute puppies that are ready for their fur-ever homes on National Puppy Day
Today is National Puppy Day, so it's a paws-itively perfect time to pick a fur-ever pal from your local animal shelter.
Here are 14 puppies available for adoption at Austin Pets Alive! and the Austin Humane Society. All Austin Humane Society puppies have an adoption fee of $175. At Austin Pets Alive!, adopters can enjoy waived adoption fees on puppies six months or younger thanks to the Mutt Madness promotion, which runs through April 3.
There are also plenty of puppies to check out at the Austin Animal Shelter, San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter, Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter and more. And remember: adopt, don't shop!
1. Neptune

Neptune will likely grow to over 50 pounds. While he can be a bit shy, he's curious and loves snuggles.
