The 2018-19 television season is in the books, and as usual, some shows performed better than others. Like, much better. Two shows tied for the title of broadcast’s top entertainment series this time around: “This Is Us” (which just scored an unprecedented three-season renewal at NBC) and Fox’s freshman singing competition, “The Masked Singer.” See how the top 14 broadcast TV shows rank by their ratings below, according to the “most current” data from Nielsen. For the purposes of this story, we elected not to count NFL football, which would have gobbled up several spots. Lowest-rated is first, highest-rated last — and yes, there are more ties.
