Next week on Neighbours, Holly becomes insecure as she faces a threat to her relationship with Haz.
Elsewhere, Remi makes a discovery about her new neighbour, Elly returns, and Paul struggles with being estranged from David.

1. Chloe confides in Nicolette
Chloe comes under pressure as Nicolette wants to know what she has been hiding since returning to Erinsborough. She eventually confides in Nicolette about what's going on.
Nicolette considers seizing control of the situation by telling Elly herself, but thinks better of it. Chloe agrees to speak to Elly, but feels daunted by the confronting conversation that lies ahead.
2. Elly returns
Elly returns to Erinsborough and is excited to spend time with Chloe again. Chloe continues to put off having a conversation about what she has been hiding.
Elly starts to wonder if something is amiss in her relationship, but Chloe later addresses the real issue by telling her the truth.
3. Chloe and Elly reach a crossroads
Chloe questions whether it's best to end her relationship with Elly following her revelation. Elly refuses to even consider it, but Chloe insists that she should give it some serious thought.
After Elly receives advice from Mackenzie and Nicolette, she returns to Chloe with her answer.
4. Paul struggles with David's coldness
Paul is eager to make the Lassiters Christmas fair a success, but he's upset that David is still avoiding him. Things only get worse for Paul when Chloe informs him that Santa has cancelled his appearance at the last minute.
Paul agrees to put on the Santa suit himself, which leads to a moving moment between him and his granddaughters. However, Paul is still dismayed that David wants nothing to do with him.
5. Byron gets dumped
Byron looks forward to taking a trip to the US to spend time with Reece, but Mackenzie suspects that Reece has already lost interest in their relationship. When Mackenzie gently mentions this as a possibility, Byron gets annoyed.
Mackenzie's theory is confirmed when Reece sends Byron a star chain necklace as a break-up present. Becoming emotional, Byron turns to Mackenzie for comfort.
6. Mackenzie and Byron spark rumours
After a drunken evening, Mackenzie and Byron wake up the next morning in the same bedroom. Haz spots a half-dressed Byron leaving Mackenzie's room and suspects that they slept together.
When the unfounded rumour spreads and gets back to Mackenzie, she clarifies to Sadie that she and Byron spent the night talking but nothing else happened between them.
Mack also tries to explain this to Haz, but he gets in there first by accusing her of taking advantage of Byron when he was vulnerable. Reminding Haz of his own recent behaviour, Mack brands him a hypocrite.
7. Holly sees too much
Haz finds out that Mackenzie has been struggling with feelings for him. He admits to Byron that he wished he'd known this before he got together with Holly, although he stops short of clarifying whether it would have changed things for him or not.
Holly uncovers the complicated situation that's going on behind her back, but Mackenzie doesn't realise that she knows anything. Holly becomes concerned that her friend is hiding the truth from her.
Mackenzie questions Haz on why he reacted so negatively to the thought of her and Byron hooking up. The friends share a charged moment, which Holly witnesses.
8. Karl oversteps the mark with Haz
Karl tries to get to know Haz better after learning that he's dating Holly. Holly is alarmed when she walks in on Karl bombarding Haz with personal questions.
Karl soon realises that Holly is feeling insecure about her relationship with Haz, but she doesn't explain why.
9. Terese and Jane try to team up
Terese and Jane prepare a pitch for their co-development, but their slot with the council is just one week away. Jane contacts Mike and explains that she'll have to call off her planned trip to the UK, where she was planning to visit him. Although Mike is outwardly understanding, he's privately upset about the disappointing news.
The atmosphere between Terese and Jane remains frosty after their previous tensions, but when Jane apologises for her part in their feud, it leads to a welcome thaw.
10. Remi is left disgusted by David
When Remi learns that David used to be a doctor but no longer practices, she asks Karl what happened. Karl gives a veiled explanation, but Remi still has questions and does some online research.
Remi is horrified when she reads the details of how David let Gareth die by choosing not to treat him at River Bend. She's appalled that a doctor would withhold care and sees David's actions as unforgivable.
11. Toadie gets a reminder of the past
Terese confides in Wendy about the breakdown of her marriage to her husband Brad a few years ago. She vows to make her relationship with Toadie work rather than falling into old traps with jealousy and insecurity.
Terese adds that she fully trusts Toadie. However, Toadie finds another piece of confetti from the wedding party and is shaken by this reminder of his past. Does this mean that he isn't really over Melanie?
12. Nell and Melanie leave Terese feeling pushed out
Nell's birthday is coming up, so Melanie presents her with a framed ticket of her favourite wrestling match.
Terese feels insecure over her own gift to Nell, which is a wrestling t-shirt. She fears that it's going to look poor in comparison to the sentimentality behind Mel's gift, but Toadie tries his best to reassure her.
13. Melanie struggles
Melanie visits Remi for a prescription for pain medication. When she re-enters her old home of Number 30, Mel struggles with panicked emotions and rushes out onto the Street.
Toadie witnesses Mel's difficult moment and becomes worried about her.
14. Wendy and Andrew try to get back on track
Wendy and Andrew look forward to a holiday, hoping to reconnect after a difficult few months. Wendy promises Paul that The Waterhole will be looked after well in her absence, but she panics when a staff member calls in sick and there's no suitable replacement.
Wendy worries that her holiday is in jeopardy, but Aaron steps in by offering to work the shift.
Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach.
