15-year-old dead after overnight shooting in Clarksdale, MS

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A 15-year-old is dead after a shooting in Clarksdale, Mississippi, Monday morning.

According to the Clarksdale Police Department, officers responded to a shooting call at 2 a.m. in the 800 block of Choctaw Street.

Teen dies after drive-by shooting in Midtown

Police say several shots were fired into a house, striking a 15-year-old multiple times. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Seven other people were also inside the home during the time of the shooting, but no one else was reported injured.

Just last Thursday, CPD said they responded to three separate shooting calls.

In the 100 block of Cherry Street, officers say they responded to a shooting where three apartments were struck by gunfire.

Suspects wanted after shots fired into Raleigh home

Police say one person received a cut on the leg while attempting to lay on the floor and avoid the gunshots.

In the 2100 block of 7 Street, officers say a victim was in bed when a “barrage” of gunfire struck their home. The victim was not injured.

Another house was shot into several times in the 1200 block of Park Lane. Officers say the shooting was a domestic dispute and that no injuries were reported.
