15-year-old Italian computer genius beatified in town of Assisi

An Italian teenager who passed away in 2006 has become the youngest contemporary figure to be beatified. Carlo Acutis was a computer whizz who taught himself to code and created a website to catalog miracles. He died of leukemia at the age of just 15, but has since gained recognition from Catholics around the world and is often called “the patron saint of the internet”.
