15-year-old Utica resident shot and killed, police say
A 15-year-old boy from Utica died after being shot Sunday, the Utica Police Department said in a statement.
Police responded to a driveway near the intersection of Warren Street and Lenox Avenue just before 8 p.m., authorities said, where the youth - who's name has not been released - was found with gunshot wounds to the head.
Despite best efforts, the youth succumbed to his wounds, police said.
Police were still investigating the incident Monday morning.
