15 things that are selling out fast at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Early access to the annual Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opened for all cardholders this week, and tons of popular items are already sold out. If you haven't shopped the sale yet, don't get discouraged. There are still plenty of things in stock. The issue: many of those items are starting to drop in inventory.
Right now, only cardholders have access, but if you have your eye on something, you can always sign up for a card to start shopping before August 18th, the date the sale opens to the public. Plus, when you sign up before that date, Nordstrom will give you $60 to spend at the store.
Another way to keep tabs on items that may come back in stock is to continuously refresh the page of the item you want. It's likely that many things will come back in stock for a limited time as people return unwanted items. Shoppers are always returning things at Nordstrom due to the store's excellent return policy, and during this year's sale, there could be more returns than usual. After all, I know I can't be the only one who opted to buy a bunch of items online to try on at home this year rather than shop in the store.
Below are 15 best-selling items that are currently selling out at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, including some that I own and personally recommend.

1. Zella Live In Jogger Pants
The jogger version of the ultra-popular Live In leggings have been a popular item during the sale. The pants have a 4.5-star rating from over 200 reviews. The smaller sizes are currently sold out, but they are still available in medium to xx-large. However, the inventory for each size is low, so these are sure to sell out soon.

2. BP. Jogger Pants and Cozy Top
You can get these together or separate, but no matter what you decide, please know that both have limited sizes and colors left. When the sale began, there were more colors and patterns available, including a tie-dye option, which I somehow got my hands on. After trying them on and wearing them for the rest of the day, I recommend both items. The entire set is extremely comfortable, and I will probably be wearing them all the time. The best part—they are both under $25 during the sale. From the colors left, I recommend both the black and gray sets, as they are simple, solid-colored clothing items that aren't trendy and will last.
3. Ugg Fluffette Slipper
People love Ugg slippers. They're a top-selling item among our readers—and now, I am a fan myself. During this year's sale, I purchased the Ugg Cozette Genuine Shearling Slippers in the hot pink color, and although I have only owned them for one day, I love them. Unfortunately, these slide slippers have already sold out completely (keep checking to see if they come back in stock, though!), but their sister slipper—the Fluffette—still has inventory left. The Cream and True Navy colors have the most sizes left, but Rock Rose (hot pink) and Lava Flow (orange) have a limited supply left with only a few sizes to choose from.
The bonus: If you're someone who prefers keeping your toes covered while wearing slippers (especially during winter), these could be a better purchase for you anyway. I am just a toes out kind of person, and I am sorry if that personally offends you, seeing as I have not had a pedicure since the Before Times.

4. True & Co True Body V-Neck Bralette
During this year's sale, I discovered the magic of True & Co. I've tried many bras before, and after buying the True & Co True Body Triangle Convertible Strap Bralette, I was SHOCKED at how soft it is. The material makes it feel as though the bra is barely there. Unfortunately, this bra sold out, but you can still get the True & Co True Body V-Neck Bralette during the sale. However, sizing is limited and it will probably sell out soon.

5. Patagonia Better Sweater Quarter Zip Pullover
Whenever the Patagonia Better Sweater is on sale, it always goes quickly—no matter what retailer is discounting it. During this year's anniversary sale, the popular sweater is 30% off, and the sizes and colors are going quickly. If you've been eyeing this pullover, now is one of the best times to purchase it in the most popular colors.

6. Nordstrom Bliss Plush Throw
This blanket is always a top seller when it's on sale, and I've always been curious why. It has a 5-star rating from 1,600 reviewers and costs less than $25 when discounted. However, when I went to purchase it in the blush pink color during this year's sale, it had already sold out! Luckily, it's still available in a decent amount of other colors, but don't be fooled—more colors were available when the sale began. If you have your eye on a certain color, be sure to grab it sooner rather than later.

7. Steve Madden Forever Chain Pointed Toe Mule
If you're seeking shoes that look more expensive than they are, consider these Steve Madden mules that people can't seem to stop buying. At only $50, these pointy toe shoes will upgrade any outfit and will span multiple seasons. The Bone Croco (or what I refer to as white) and Turquoise Croco colors have almost a full selection of sizes left, but Black Leather, Leopard Print, and Tan Suede have limited availability. These are likely to continue selling out, so act fast if you're into them.

8. Zella Live In High Waist Leggings
The popular Zella Live In leggings have over 6,000 rave reviews and are loved by many people at Reviewed, including myself. Us Zella fanatics all recommend buying a pair when they're on sale. Right now, the "purple moon" and "grey forged" colors have limited sizes left, but there is a bigger selection for the black color. However, these will go quick as the sale continues—especially when the public gains access on the 19th.

9. Kiehl's Jumbo Creme de Corps Bottle with Pump
This allover body moisturizer from Kiehl's has just about 5 stars from over 1,100 reviews—and this year, it's heavily discounted for the Nordstrom sale. Self-care is more important than ever right now, and for some, skincare is self-care. Whether you're a moisturizer fanatic or you're just starting to dabble in skin products, this is an excellent deal. However, it's been a best-seller during the sale, meaning it is bound to sell out soon.

10. Gibson Cozy V-Neck Tunic
With "cozy" in the item's name, it's no surprise this top is selling out during 2020's sale. Even if you're working remotely and might not have much to dress up for this fall and winter, this cozy tunic is perfect to wear for both Zoom meetings and lounging. Not to mention, this simple top will last you more than a year, unless you somehow destroy it, but that's on you. The black, gray, and animal print colors only have a few left, but the pink, olive, and light blue have more in stock.

11. Leith Cozy Long Cardigan
Cardigans are usually a top-selling item during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. While people's shopping habits are a bit different this year due to the pandemic, cardigans are still selling, including this one from Leith. This cardigan comes in six different colors, and is already starting to sell out in a few of them. The "red chili" color seems to be the most popular, with a few sizes left, but the other options will likely start to disappear as people get their hands on them. The "grey light heather" color will likely go next, and the black and beige colors probably won't be far behind.

With almost 5 stars from over 3,100 reviews, it's no surprise this bra has been selling out during this year's big event. While I don't have experience with this specific item, I do own and love a few bras from Natori and personally recommend the brand myself. The Feathers Underwire Contour Bra happens to be the most popular Natori bra available on Nordstrom's website, so for just under $40, you'll get a quality, best-selling bra at a bargain.

13. Caslon Rounded V-Neck T-Shirt
I own three Caslon Rounded V-Neck T-Shirts and fully understand why they are a top seller at this year's anniversary sale. The shirts are comfortable, can be dressed up or down, and are a great price right now at just under $13. The inventory for these tops is minimal, as there are only a few sizes and colors left, but as people start returning things, more are bound to come back in stock.

14. BP. All Day Tee
Another t-shirt option that is also selling out quickly is this tee from BP. If you're looking for a top with a more relaxed fit that is perfect for lounging and wearing out and about, this tee is a great option. However, like everything else on this list, there are limited sizes and colors left. Many of the colors already sold out completely, but right now four still have sizes left.

Nike products are always a hot commodity, even when they're not on sale. This year's Nordstrom Anniversary Sale includes discounts on tons of Nike items, including this sweatshirt. To no surprise, this Nike sweatshirt is one of the sale's best-sellers, so one can expect that it will sell out soon enough. Currently, the gray color only has a few left, but the black color has more in stock.
