$150 cup of coffee? This Austin shop is one of two places you can get the luxury brew

Only two locations. Only 22 cups of coffee.

Only, well, $150 per cup.

At such a cost, the Black Jaguar Geisha coffee from Hartmann Estate in Panama is Proud Mary Coffee Roasters' most expensive coffee ever. The special brew goes on sale Feb. 6 at Proud Mary cafes in Austin — located at 2043 S Lamar Blvd. — and Portland, Oregon.

The two cafes will sell a total of 22 cups of the Black Jaguar Geisha, which won first place in 2022's Best in Panama competition and cost Proud Mary $2,000 for one pound of the coffee beans.

In a Willy Wonka-esque move, Proud Mary will gift one U.S. winner a golden ticket for the special coffee. The giveaway extends through Jan. 26, and the ticket will go to a random person who pre-orders a Hartmann Geisha tin on Proud Mary's website.

In addition to the Black Jaguar Geisha coffee, Proud Mary will serve five limited time coffees throughout February as part of a Hartmann Family takeover event.
