16-year-old Colfax High School student Dante de la Torre found dead, officials say
A 16-year-old student at Colfax High School who disappeared more than 24 hours ago while working on a school project was found dead, the Placer County Sheriff's Office said on Thursday. Foul play is not considered a factor in Dante de la Torre's death, the sheriff's office said. "We offer our condolences to the Delatorre [sic] family and Dante's friends during this unbelievably tragic time," a Facebook post from the sheriff's office read.
