Many medical schools struggle with creating a diverse student body. As institutions work to improve the representation of African American doctors in training on their campuses, here are 17 schools with the highest percentage of African American students for the 2019-2020 school year. Some predominantly black medical colleges, such as the Morehouse School of Medicine, did not submit the necessary data for inclusion in this list.
