Section III field hockey standouts from around the Mohawk Valley earned some of the spots on the New York state and Section III all-star teams for the 2021 season.
Holland Patent (13-5-1 overall, Class B), Little Falls (14-5, Class D) and Canastota (16-4, Class C) — which each earned Section III titles in their respective classes during the fall 2021 season — are each represented on the teams.
In total, 17 players from the area Section III teams located in the Mohawk Valley earned honors. Nine players were selected as both Section III all-stars and New York state all-stars. Eight others from around area were chosen to the Section III all-star team.
There are 30 total players from Section III to earn honors.
Little Falls' Allyson Nichols earned all-state honors for the second time in as many seasons.
