17-year-old arrested after robbery at Spot Food Store in Chester

A 17-year-old was arrested after a robbery in late February at a food store in Chester, according to the sheriff’s office.

The Chester County Sheriff’s Office had been investigating the robbery at the Spot Food Store on Pinckney Street after it happened on Feb. 26. Investigators found that the suspect in the robbery was a 17-year-old.

With the help of the Chester Police Department, SLED, and the U.S. Marshals Service, deputies were able to find the wanted teen at a home on Carr Street. He was arrested on Friday, according to the sheriff’s office.

When authorities arrested the teen, they also found marijuana, prescription oxycodone, and six guns inside the home. Two other people were arrested and charged in connection with the drugs and guns. Bryan Feaster was arrested for possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and Kylynn Jackson was charged for possession of a machine gun.

The 17-year-old is being charged as an adult for armed robbery and attempted murder. His name isn’t being released because of his age, the sheriff’s office said.
