18-year-old arrested in Texas to face first-degree murder charge in Boynton Beach Sweet 16 shooting

BOYNTON BEACH — Authorities have arrested an 18-year-old man in connection to a fatal shooting at a Boynton Beach Sweet 16 birthday party in June.

The U.S. Marshals Service took Kaleb Turkustani into custody Tuesday in the Houston suburb of Richmond, Texas, the Boynton Beach Police Department said.

Investigators allege that he killed 17-year-old Louijice Camille on June 18 as two groups of juveniles fought in the parking lot of the Fraternal Order of Police lodge on the 1200 block of Miner Road, just west of Interstate 95.

Police said a Sweet 16 party was being held inside the venue that night.
