18th annual ‘Polar Plunge’ happening next weekend

CREVE COEUR, Mo. – The 18th annual ‘Polar Plunge’ to benefit the Special Olympics in Missouri is happening next weekend at Creve Coeur Lake.

It’ll be part of the law enforcement torch run hosted by Maryland Heights and Hazelwood’s police departments. This year will also be the first annual polar bear strut, which is a fun run and walk around the lake.

There will also be a costume contest before the plunge. This year’s goal is $80,000.
