19-year-old hospitalized after weekend hit-and-run

LAS CRUCES ― Police are investigating after they say a hit-and-run left a 19-year-old man in critical but stable condition over the weekend.

According to a spokesperson with the City of Las Cruces, a 19-year-old man was hit by a car on June 10 around 10 p.m. The man was walking near the Mesilla Valley Mall on the 700 block of Telshor Avenue when he was struck, the spokesperson said. The man was flown to an El Paso hospital after the incident.
