Looking for a fun project this winter? Why not go in on this 1969 Chevy Camaro Z/28? It's been sitting untouched inside of a garage since the mid-Eighties, and now, it's in need of a full restoration. Fortunately for you, it's up for bidding right now on eBay Motors.

According to the seller, this car wears most of its original green paint, but looks to have been prepped for a new coat before going into storage. They go on to guess that it was used as a race car back when it was new, considering there are tow bars up front and a three-point cage inside. Rust has been kept to a minimum, and the body looks straight and undamaged. The engine bay also appears to be largely complete as well, though it's unclear if the motor is original. Power gets to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission.

Other race-minded modifications on the car include a mount for a fire extinguisher on the transmission tunnel, a handful of aftermarket gauges along the dash, and a set of frame-strengthening ladder bars mounted underneath. There's even an Island Raceway sticker in the window, which likely refers to the drag facility in Great Meadows, New Jersey, near where the car is being kept now. Clearly, someone had a lot of fun with this car at some point.

This Z/28 is up for bidding now on eBay in Jackson, New Jersey with a current high bid of $18,000 and four days remaining. If the car is as original as it seems, it might be worth it. Especially if you have the space and time to take on a project of this caliber.
