2 arrested in connection to thefts in Tehachapi, Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man and woman were arrested this week following a year-long investigation into property and ATM thefts in Tehachapi and Bakersfield.

The two were arrested Wednesday at a home on Ashworth Road in the Oildale area and are being held on more than $1 million bail, according to a Tehachapi Police Department release. Police found items linking them to the crimes.

Detectives from both the Tehachapi and Bakersfield Police departments are working on additional leads, the release said.
